SONS OF UNION VETERANS OF THE CIVIL WAR ...
The Memorial Day Observance that we partake in
along with the Joint Veterans Groups
will hold its annual parade and gravsite Memorial
on Sunday May 27th, 2001 at 13:00 hours
(1:OO PM) at the Veteran's Administration National
Cemetery in Bourne Massachusetts. Those who wish
to participate are asked to be at the
cemetery by 11:30 hours.
The Veteran's Administration National Cemetery in Bourne Massachusetts
is significant because it is currently the only Federal National
Cemetery in New England that has a grave dedicated to an unknown solider
from the Civil War.
